DHYG 2139 - Dental Hygiene II Theory
Credits: 3
Presents the principles and assessment of oral health, dental hygiene care planning, treatment methods, and the preventive measures employed against dental disease. The course establishes the scientific principles of disease prevention and focus is on instrumentation techniques. An overview of dental specialties is also included.
Prerequisite: C or better in DHYG 2028 , DHYG 2009 , DHYG 2010C , and DHYG 2012
Corequisite: DHYG 2025 , DHYG 2033 , and DHYG 2140C
