MUS 1831 - Introduction to Conducting
Credits: 2
This course is designed to introduce basic conducting techniques, develop independence of hands, and present a comprehensive approach to score preparation, with the main goal of communicating music artistically and expressively through conducting.
Prerequisite: Completion of MUS 1301 , MUS 1102 , MUS 1202 , AND either MUS 1501 or MUS 1521 , all with a grade of “C” or higher; or by permission of the instructor.
