MUS 2603 - Electronic Music Composition II

A continuation of MUS 1602 - Electronic Music Composition I . This course is an exploration of techniques used in electronic music composition. Topics covered include further exploration in the editing of digital recording using industry-standard sequencing software; the mix, mastering and exporting of digital recordings; and the composition of a music score for a video. Students will also be introduced to the various aspects of operating a recording studio which will include the type and function of equipment used.

Prerequisite: MUS 1602  with a “C” or above; or by permission of the instructor
