LATN 1012 - Elementary Latin II


Credits: 4

A continuation of Elementary Latin I, this course builds upon previous introduction to the Latin language and Classical Romanculture and history with a continued emphasis on the development of the four basic skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This is the second part to the beginning sequence for students who have had some prior study of this language either in high school or Elementary Latin I. This is a four-credit course with an embedded language lab component.

Prerequisite: Students must have earned a grade of C- or better in LATN 1011 , or complete a Language and Culture placement test, or obtain permission of the instructor.
