ARAB 1012 - Elementary Arabic II


Credits: 4

A continuation of Elementary Arabic I, this course builds upon previous introduction to the Arabic language and Arabic-speaking cultures with a continued emphasis on the development of the four basic skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. This is the second part to the beginning sequence for students who have had some prior study of this language either in high school, Elementary Arabic I or life experience. This is a four-credit course with an embedded language lab component.

Prerequisite: Students must have earned a grade of C- or higher in ARAB 1011 , complete a Language and Culture placement test, or obtain permission of the Instructor.
