AUTO 2033 - Manual Drivetrain and Axles
Credits: 3
The diagnosis and repair of manual drive transmissions and transaxles. This includes clutches, drive (half) shaft, and universal joints along with rear axle and four-wheel drive components. Theory, operation, diagnosis, and repair procedures will be covered. Prepares students for the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation (A.S.E.) A3 exam.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: AUTO 1030 or with permission of the coordinator.
