AUTO 2035 - Automotive Transmission/Transaxle
Credits: 3
The operation, diagnosis and maintenance of automatic transmission and transaxles to include in-vehicle and off-vehicle adjustments and repair. Transmission/transaxle mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operation. Service, overhaul, mechanical/electrical diagnosis procedures will be covered. Use and application of diagnostic equipment. Prepares students for the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation (A.S.E.) A2 exam.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: AUTO 1030 and AUTO 1033 or with permission of the coordinator.
