BIO 1600 - Genetics and Society Credits: 3
This course will introduce the principles of genetics including inheritance, human genetics, and molecular genetics. The course will also focus on the role of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) in agriculture, medicine, and technology. The ethical implications of genetic technology will also be discussed. This course is not intended for science majors.
Prerequisite: ENG 1010 Elective Code(s): LART, SCI Previous BIO* 160
