DNAS 1023 - Chairside Dental Assisting
Credits: 4
This course provides dental assistant instruction to enhance the development of dental health care professionals. The course introduces the basic theory related to general and specialty dental procedures. Students will learn the principles of four-handed dentistry which are applied during dental laboratory sessions for the development of chairside assisting skills.
Prerequisite: PSY 1011 , BIO 1005 , and COMM 1301 (minimum of a C)
Corequisite: DNAS 1036
