HPE 2051 - Adapted Physical Education
Credits: 3
An introduction to the instructional adaptations to meet the physical activity needs of students with disabilities. Individual assessments, educational planning, service delivery and advocacy for special needs, are content areas stressed in this course. It draws on the fields of adapted physical education, special education, psychology, medicine, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and therapeutic recreational service to provide a complete, comprehensive resource.
