ITAL 1012 - Elementary Italian II Credits: 4
A continuation of Elementary Italian I, this course builds upon previous introduction to the Italian language and Italian-speaking cultures with a continued emphasis on the development of the four basic skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This is the second part to the beginning sequence for students who have had some prior study of this language either in high school, ITAL 1011 , or life experience. This is a four-credit course with an embedded language lab component.
Prerequisite: Students must have earned a grade of C- or better in ITAL 1011 , complete a Language and Culture placement test, or obtain permission of the instructor. General Education Code: ARHX Elective Code(s): FLNG, LACU Previous ITA* 112
