HPE 1040 - Pilates Wellness

This 10-week, studio course focuses on the quality of movement, posture and breathing by increasing strength, flexibility, and balance of Pilates. The holistic perspective facilitated includes physical awareness, cognitive reflection, nutrition, and insights from feelings; and focuses on mind-body centering. Dancers, athletes, health professionals, or those personally interested in quality health and well-being are the targeted audience. Comfortable clothing required.
