CCS 1001H - College & Career Success - Honors Credits: 3
This course prepares students for success in college and beyond. Students will develop self-awareness and an understanding of how to navigate college, value diversity, develop skills and strategies for success, and explore career options. Essential academic skills including information literacy, critical thinking, and effective communication will be addressed. By the end of this course, students will create an in-depth personalized academic and career success plan and a major project that includes an oral presentation.
Prerequisite: Eligible for ENG 1010 , ESOL 1302 or higher or recommendation of ESOL coordinator AND Permission of Honors Program Coordinator Corequisite: Student must be admitted to a CT State Honors Program Course Fees: None
