PHIL 1012 - Bioethics Credits: 3
This course is an introduction and survey course in Bioethics that will examine some of the moral issues affecting the daily realities of healthcare.Bioethics isconcerned with the ethical questions that arise in the relationships among life sciences, biotechnology, medicine, environment, politics, law, global issues, and philosophy.The student will investigate philosophical theories and principles, ethics, bioethics,and current laws governing healthcare providers’ decisions and research. Students will discuss issues related to end of life, the formation of life, and research.
