PHIL 1301 - Logic

Logic is the study of reasoning and promotes skill in evaluating persuasive language according to general standards of validity. Students are introduced to deductive and inductive reasoning skills and methods of evaluation. In this course, emphasis is on argument recognition, fallacy identification, and the analysis of reasoning in ordinary language.

Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG 1010   (or completion of ENG 0930 ENG 0940 , or  ENG 0960   with a grade of C or higher.)
