PHIL 1405 - Sustainable Living Credits: 3
Sustainable living involves creating and maintaining conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony while fulfilling environmental, social/societal, economic, and other needs for present and future generations. This course is an introduction to ideas and issues surrounding sustainability such as eco-literacy, whole systems thinking, principles of ecological design, technology, politics, ethics, economics, food and energy, and worldview; and includes fieldwork.
