MUS 1812 - Guitar II
Credits: 3
Guitar II is a course that will teach the intermediate to advanced techniques and fundamentals of guitar playing. The main objective of the course is to expand on thematerial learned in MUS 1811 - Guitar I , including the ability to play solo and ensemble guitar music at a level appropriate for school performances. This course teaches finger-style playing based on classical guitar technique.
Prerequisite: MUS 1811 with a “C” or above; or instructor’s permission
