RAD 1001 - Introduction to Radiologic Sciences and Patient Care
Credits: 3
This course is an introduction to the hospital environment, developing an understanding of the role of a Radiographer. Students will learn medical terminology to better communicate with other healthcare professionals and their patients. The history of radiography as well as developing technologies will be presented. Introduction to prime factors.
Prerequisite: Program Admission
Corequisite: CCC, GWCC, MxCC and NVCC: RAD 1002 , RAD 1002L , RAD 1094
