LING 1010 Introduction to Linguistics (3 Credits)

This course is an introduction to the study of language and the fundamentals of linguistic theory. The course focuses on the study of languages, the use of language, and how linguists study language and why language is studied.

Prerequisites: Grade of C- or higher in ENG 0930 or ENG 0960 OR eligibility for ENG 1010.
