Oceanography (OCEN)

This 3-credit non-laboratory science course is suitable for science and non-science majors and is an introduction to the science of the ocean with emphasis on the geological, physical, chemical and biological aspects of oceans. Topics include physical and chemical properties of seawater, circulation, bathymetry, waves, tides, El Niño, and marine plants and animal habitats. Some field trips may be required.
