The Credible Messenger Mentoring program prepares YOU to become a change agent, who will support, assist, and facilitate access to community resources to people currently involved in the justice system. The curriculum is grounded on a restorative justice model. The goal of the training is to prepare Credible Messengers who will act as mentors to others who have been touched or impacted by the criminal justice system. The Credible Messenger Mentoring training is designed to promote healing, self-development, restoration, and health/trusting relationships, and equip those that complete the program with valuable skills they can utilize in the workplace. The training includes a Mental Health First Aid certification. Program offered in partnership with the City of Hartford and Full Citizens Coalition.
