MUS 1405 - Applied Lessons I


Credits: 2

This course is the first in a sequence of required private vocal and instrumental lessons to reinforce and learn elements of music performance. Students will continue their instruction through one hour per week masterclass and one hour per week of private music lesson. Private teachers will be selected and approved by the music department. This course is offered in the following areas of practice:

Brass (MUS 1405B), Compostion (MUS 1405C), Guitar (MUS 1405G), Piano (MUS1405P), Percussion (MUS 1405R), Voice (MUS 1405V), Woodwinds (MUS 1405W)

Prerequisite: By permission of the music program coordinator /department chair
