AUTO 2030 - Service and Parts Department Management
Credits: 3
Presents the overall operation of the service and parts departments. Topics in this course include marketing techniques, financial analysis, personnel management, work scheduling and distribution, and use of pricing manuals. An in-depth study of parts numbering, storage, cataloging, retrieval, ordering, and stocking management techniques will be discussed. Prepares students for the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation (A.S.E.) C1, P2 exam.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: AUTO 1030 or AUTO 1010 or with the permission of Coordinator
