AUTO 2037 - Heating and Air Conditioning
Credits: 3
Presents in both theory and practice, the proper procedures for the diagnosis and repair of air conditioning systems, heating, and engine cooling systems, operating systems, and related controls. Emphasis is placed on basic refrigerant cycles, heat transfer, trouble shooting, and diagnosis of both refrigerant and electronic control systems. Prepares students for the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation (A.S.E.) A7 exam.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: AUTO 1030 and AUTO 1033 or with permission of the coordinator.
