CJS 1000 - Perspectives of Criminal Justice
Credits: 3
This course prepares student for success in college and beyond. Students will explore academic and career options, set informed academic and career goals withing in the context of the criminal justice system. Students will begin to develop essential skills such as information literacy, critical thinking, and effective communication. The course will also have students develop personalized academic plans and learn academic behaviors essential for a career in criminal justice. Individual learning styles and study strategies associated with success will be emphasized. This course satisfies the college first year experience requirement.
