CJS 1250 - Motor Vehicle Stops

This course provides students with in-depth look at motor vehicle laws and enforcement with a focus on Connecticut Motor Vehicle laws. The practical aspect of this course will focus on the application of best practices in the execution of motor vehicle stops. Students will gain practical experience applying Connecticut Motor Vehicle Law. Topics covered include, felony and misdemeanor stops, stop procedures, use of force considerations, safety considerations and motor vehicle searches.
