AUTO 1031 - Engine Repair

Credits: 3

Diagnosis of automotive engines and their lubrication and cooling systems. Included is engine construction, operation along with disassembly and assembly techniques. Covers in both theory and practice, of the automotive engine and its’ systems. Students will gain the skills necessary to service and repair current automotive engines. Students will learn to diagnose engine problems and repair them properly. Prepares students for the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation (A.S.E.) A1 exam.

Prerequisite/Corequisite: AUTO 1030   or with the permission of the coordinator.
