HOSP 1117 - Beverage Management Credits: 3
Introduces the identification, use, and service of wines and other alcoholic beverages with an in-depth analysis of the various elements of beverage operations, including purchasing, control, legalities, merchandising, and bar management. This course explores the legal concerns of bar operations, the people skills required to be successful in the field of beverage service and the benefits of proper mixology and cost controls. This course will help students identify the classifications of alcoholic beverages, wines and beers and the importance of proper storage processes, controls and accountability.
