MUS 1102 - Music Theory II
Credits: 3
This course offers a continued exploration of topics discussed in MUS 1101 . Topics include: seventh chords, secondary function chords, modulation, form, and counterpoint. The aural component of the material studied in this course is covered in MUS 1202 , therefore the courses must be taken concurrently.
Prerequisite: MUS 1101 with a “C’ or higher; or by permission of the instructor
Corequisite: MUS 1202 , This corequisite can only be overridden by permission of the instructor upon the successful completion of a placement test.
