MUS 1821 - Introduction to Music Education


Credits: 2

This course is designed to introduce students to the profession of music education. An overview of the music education profession, including history, philosophy, psychology, curriculum, professional organizations, and obligations will be discussed.

Prerequisite: A very basic understanding of notation before beginning this class is highly recommended. Successful completion of MUS 1100  is recommended.
