AUTO 1033 - Electrical/Electronics Systems


Credits: 3

Covers in both theory and practice, automotive electrical and electronic systems. Students will study the most updated automotive electronic systems and become familiar with electrical circuits, alternators, starters, batteries, and electrical components. Theory, operation, diagnosis, and repair procedures will be covered. Emphasizes lecture and related laboratory experiences in the diagnosis and service of automotive electrical systems and their components. Prepares students for the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation (A.S.E.) A6 exam.

Prerequisite/Corequisite: AUTO 1030  and MATH 0900  or successful completion of college placement test or with permission of the coordinator
