PTA 2894 - Physical Therapist Assistant Full-Time Clinical Experience II
Credits: 3
This course is the final clinical experience designed for students to integrate and apply physical therapy concepts to effectively perform interventions and data collection as a physical therapist assistant under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Students will develop daily organizational and management skills of a patient caseload and effectively contribute to the health care team consistent with entry-level performance. This course is a full-time clinical experience (approximately 40 hours per week) in the second half of the semester.
Prerequisite: Successful completion (C or higher) in PTA 2500, PTA 2550, PTA 2580 and a ‘Pass’ or ‘C or higher’ in PTA 2694/2694P.
