This 2024-25 Curriculum Guide is intended as a reference for Fall 2024 registration. The complete 2024-25 Academic Catalog will be finalized on July 1, 2024.


This program prepares students for technical positions within the Computer Science field.  It provides students with the skills needed to be successful in the field of Web Development.  The program teaches students fundamental concepts as well as fosters preparation for tomorrow’s web development needs.  Course work is focused on programming in heterogeneous platform environments through multiple programming languages, essential design skills and tools, and development of both written and verbal communication skills needed in all areas of the business community.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of all major requirements, graduates will be able to:

  • Create web sites and programs that function in heterogeneous environments;
  • Use an integrated development environment (IDE) to create web sites and other programs;
  • Use OOP (object-oriented programming) techniques to design and develop software;
  • Create effective User Interfaces and User Experiences;
  • Write and execute code in Object Oriented programming languages;
  • Test web pages and web sites and troubleshoot any problems;
  • Design and implement relational database entities; 
  • Use database software to build, modify, and query relational databases;
  • Produce websites using modern techniques.
