				- New students enrolling for the first time in Fall 2023 will begin as students of Connecticut State Community College under this catalog. 
 
				- Continuing students from one of the 12 community colleges will be transitioned into a CT State program in this catalog as of the start of the Fall 2023 term.

The CSCU Pathway Transfer Degree: Physics Studies, A.A. degree program prepares students primarily for transfer to complete a B.S. degree in physics. Graduates will receive a background in mathematics, science, and general education courses for seamless transfer of all credits and junior status in a B.S. degree at Connecticut State Universities.
 Learning Outcomes:
Students completing this degree will be prepared to transfer to the CSUs as an incoming Junior, and will be able to: 
	- Communicate using terminology appropriate to Physics Studies.
 
	- Understand conceptual, theoretical and experimental methods used in Physics, and their applications to other fields and disciplines
 
	- Develop critical thinking, and analytical and computational problem-solving skills.
 
	- Recognize the broader impact of Physics in Society.
