MUS 1802 - Intermediate Voice


Credits: 3

Intermediate Voice is a performance-based course designed to be a continuation of the concepts learned in Beginning Voice, including vocal technique, Italian/English classical, folk, and Broadway song repertoire and performance practices to individuals seeking vocal instruction. Emphasis will be given to breathing, vowel modification, posture, and other physical issues related to singing. As the semester continues, we will continue to study Italian diction, performance practice, vocal technique and the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA).

Prerequisite: MUS 1801  or permission of instructor
