ITAL 1021 - Beginning Italian Conversation II


Credits: 3

This is a second semester introductory course for students who wish to continue developing their basic conversational skills in Italian. It focuses on everyday situations that students may encounter when living or traveling in Italian- speaking environments and dealing with Italian-speaking people in the United States. This is a beginning level course designed for students who have no more than 1 year of elementary Italian or have completed Beginning Italian Conversation I. It emphasizes practical, everyday situations and provides a variety of opportunities to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while enhancing cultural understanding and appreciation of the Italian-speaking world.

Prerequisite: A grade of C- or higher in either ITAL 1020 - Beginning Italian Conversation I , ITAL 1011 - Elementary Italian I  or ITAL 1012 - Elementary Italian II , or permission of instructor.
