SPAN 1021 - Beginning Spanish Conversation II


Credits: 3

This is a second semester introductory course for students who wish to continue developing their basic conversational skills in Spanish. It focuses on everyday situations that students may encounter when living or traveling in Spanish- speaking environments and dealing with Spanish-speaking people in the United States. This is a beginning level course designed for students who have no more than 1 year of elementary Spanish or have completed Beginning Spanish Conversation I. It emphasizes practical, everyday situations and provides a variety of opportunities to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while enhancing cultural understanding and appreciation of the Spanish- speaking world.

Prerequisite: A grade of C- or higher in SPAN 1020 - Beginning Spanish Conversation I SPAN 1011 - Elementary Spanish I SPAN 1012 - Elementary Spanish II , or SPAN 1013 - Elementary Spanish I-II  or permission of instructor
