ENVE 2990 - Environmental Issues Seminar Credits: 3
In this 3-credit course, students develop their knowledge of current environmental issues through expert guest lectures, research, and assigned readings. Students explore a variety of global and local environmental topics that may include one or more of the following: environmental trends and issues, global climate change, human impacts on our oceans and land, federal and state regulations, solid, municipal and hazardous waste management, environmental restoration and remediation, wildlife management, alternative and renewable energy, sustainable landscape management, sustainable agriculture, GMOs, conservation, stewardship, land use, water quality, and/or stormwater management.
Prerequisite: ENVE 1010 and ENG 1010 , both with C or higher Elective Code(s): GLKY, LART, SCI Additional Info: Required for Environmental Engineering Technology majors. Previous ENV* 295
