NUR 1120C - Nursing in Health & Illness I
Credits: 9
This course serves as an introduction to the art and science of nursing. Learning experiences assist the student to integrate knowledge from pre-and co-requisite courses into the provision of safe patient-centered care using the nursing process. Emphasis is placed upon developing foundational clinical judgment, communication, professionalism, and select fundamental nursing concepts.
Prerequisite: BIO 2111 (C+ or higher), ENG 1010 (C OR HIGHER), MATH 1200 OR HIGHER (C OR HIGHER)
Prerequisite/Corequisite: BIO 2112 (C+ OR HIGHER), PSY 1011 (C OR HIGHER)
