SOC 2078 - Community Research

In this course, you will volunteer with a community organization, carrying out activities that will have some concrete result in addressing structural inequality and meeting the needs of the community. You will gain experience in one or more primary research methods used by sociologists: participant observation, interviews, survey research, content analysis, or the use of existing documents.
Prerequisite: SOC 1001
