WGS 1005 - Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies Credits: 3
Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary course that examines the social construction of gender and how it intersects with race/ethnicity, class, religion, nationality, culture, and sexual orientation to develop an understanding of how privilege and oppression operate.
Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG 1010 or permission of the instructor General Education Code: ARHX Elective Code(s): SSCI Previous WGS* 105
