ESOL 1307 - Communications III: High Intermediate
Credits: 3
In this high intermediate course, students will further develop their academic reading fluency, vocabulary knowledge, and communication skills. Through extensive reading and discussion, students improve fluency and increase self-confidence and competency in oral communication. Activities may include reading strategy development, vocabulary study, debates, whole class and small group discussions, and oral reports.
Prerequisite: C or higher in ESOL 1202 or through ESL multiple measure placement method or permission of coordinator/ department chair.
