MUS 1600 - Introduction to Music Production
Credits: 3
This course is an introduction to the art and science of music production. Current practices, elements, and tools for electronic mixing and mastering will be defined and explored. The course will lay a thorough foundation of industry standard mixing and mastering skills, EQ, compression, using MIDI samples, electronic synthesis, various plugins, flexible and current as the dynamics of the industry shift.
