This degree program is a career development opportunity for students currently working in banking or in a related industry, as well as students interested in pursuing a career in similar fields. The curriculum is designed to better prepare students for entry level, supervisory and middle-management roles in savings banks, commercial banks, savings and loan associations, credit unions and other financial institutions. The courses familiarize students with the various aspects of banking and financial services.
Learning Outcomes:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the basic theory and practice of business administration and banking.
- Demonstrate the ability to read, understand, and prepare standard types of business communications.
- Demonstrate analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills applicable to business administration and banking.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use and interpretation of data and information as applied to the various applications in business administration and banking.
- Exhibit knowledge of financial services institutions
This program prepares graduates for careers in the Banking Industry and works in collaboration with and is supported by local banks.
